A Member of Our Church Family
Tammy Williams is walking through Triple Negative Breast Cancer, and her family has shared that treatment will be continuing longer than they originally planned. Our chicken plate fundraiser was a huge success, and our church family continues to walk with her — through giving and prayer.
The Need
Tammy Williams has been part of our Pleasant Grove family for years. Right now she's facing Triple Negative Breast Cancer, and as her family has shared, her treatment will be continuing longer than they originally planned. As her family has said, this is a battle many people face, but it's hard to truly understand how hard it is until you or someone you love is walking through it.
Tammy's family has also shared that they're fully trusting God with the outcome of this fight, even as it's been hard to watch her walk through it. That trust doesn't make the need any less real — and we want to help carry it with them.
Beyond what the family has already shared publicly, we're not going into further detail out of respect for Tammy's privacy. What we can tell you is this: the medical bills, travel, and everyday costs of this season are real, and they're heavy. As a church, we don't want her carrying that alone — financially or in prayer.
Below are a few concrete ways you can stand with her.
How You Can Help
Our chicken plate fundraiser has wrapped up, but Tammy will be fighting this for some time — here are a couple of simple ways to keep helping.
Tammy will be fighting this for some time, and online giving remains open for anyone who'd still like to help. Give directly through our secure online giving page, select the General Fund or Community Mission Fund, and add a note that your gift is for Tammy Williams so the office can direct it correctly.
Thank you to everyone who supported our chicken plate meal fundraiser on Saturday, August 29. We sold well over 100 plates, and every dollar is going toward helping Tammy and her family.
We're grateful for how our church family and community showed up for her. If you'd still like to give, online giving remains open above.
Prefer to give cash or check? Kassidy Roney is coordinating that in person — call or email the office and we'll connect you with her.

Will You Pray With Us?
Giving covers real costs, but prayer carries what money can't. Please pray for Tammy's strength and peace, for her family as they walk through this season with her, and for healing. If you'd like to let us know you're praying, we'd love to hear from you.
